After an eventful move into a 11 x 22 studio apartment.
I was moved in.
Conveniently, I was only a block from Kathleen's apartment.
But wait, I said "eventful".
Well...
The couch didn't fit through the front door of my 3rd
floor WALK UP apartment.
The Ryder truck was double parked. The couch was jammed
in the hole that used to hold the now removed front door of 3A.
After a quick climb DOWN the FIRE ESCAPE, I noticed that
I was granted my first orange membership card to NYC.
A $55 parking ticket. Welcome to the Big Apple.
Needless to day, the couch took an hour to force in,
and the truck took 10 minutes to be safely returned.
12 boxes, 2 speakers, 1 computer 1 bed and 1 bruised
couch.
...I protested the ticket (What else would you expect?)
...and won!
